Integrative Transpersonal Therapy & Autogenic Therapy
This therapy is based on the assumption that we all at our
core are inhabited by an Authentic Self and that our life
experiences, if they were painful, have distanced us from
that core. We are also all part of a greater whole: family,
social, political, cultural, national, geographical, spiritual.
It is beyond our personal control.
That is "transpersonal".
The distancing which may have happened mostly in early childhood
will affect our thinking patterns - mind; our emotional reactions
- feelings; and our physical well-being - body. We take all
these aspects into consideration.
That is "integrative".
In the psychotherapeutic context, we will explore ways to
free ourselves from patterns of behaviour and thought which
no longer benefit us.
Autogenic Psychpotherapy is based on Autogenic Training.
The principal aspects of Autogenic Training are a non-judgmental,
non-striving approach to oneself.
In Autogenic Psychotherapy, also known as Autogenic Neutralisation,
we apply these principles after having learned Autogenic Training.
This depth psychotherapy enables the emergence of unconscious
material and is most effective in restoring balance and accessing
our deep inner truths which we may have had to bury in order
to maintain harmony and survive in our childhood.
Autogenic Psychotherapy fits both the"transpersonal"and
the "integrative"descriptions and is an additional
technique Tamara Callea uses with clients when appropriate
